The objective of Video Poker is to receive the highest ranked poker hand possible.
Enter a betting amount by clicking on the chips located at the upper right corner of the screen. The chips are automatically placed in the slots when clicked.
On the bottom of the machine, there is a row of buttons handling the machine.
Cash Out: Takes the money you have left in the video poker machine and returns it back to your balance.
Hold: Chooses which cards are to be held during the next deal. You can also click on the cards you wish to hold during the next deal.
Bet One: Changes how many coins you wagered at once. You can wager 1 through 5 coins at a time. Notice, the pink highlighting on the odds move when you click on the "Bet One" button to reflect your choice.
Bet Max: Automatically bets 5x the coin chosen on the left.
Dealer gives you a new hand or changes out the cards in the current hand that are not held.
Minimum bet: $1
HTML: Maximum bet: $200
JAVA: Maximum bet: $50
JAVA: There are 3 betting choices: $1, $5, or $10.
Bet Max:
$1 = $5 bet
$5 = $25 bet
$10 = $50 bet
Do not hold a high value card, such as an Ace with a pair.
Do not discard any pair just to hold a high card.
Keep a high pair instead of going for a Flush or Royal Flush.
Keep a low pair over a 4-card "straight".
Keep a 3-card Royal Flush over a low pair, a 4-card Flush or a 4-card "straight".
Draw 5 new cards if your hand does not contain at least a high card.
